About me
I'm Fiona, I'm mama to a beautiful little girl and step-mum to the most wonderful, amazing boy. I came to hypnobirthing when I was pregnant with my daughter, Luna, and absolutely fell in love with everything it teaches and the way it made me feel. I had previously thought I knew everything I needed to know about giving birth, but when I completed my KG Hypnobirthing course I had a completely different (better!) view of birth and great sense of confidence in my body and baby.
I was able to use the skills and information I had learned in my KGH course to achieve the home birth I had wished for. Since then, (and anybody who knows me will back me up) I haven't been able to stop talking about hypnobirthing and just everything to do with birth and babies in general! I feel incredibly passionate about giving back to other expectant mothers everything that I was able to gain from my course.
I decided to take the plunge and trained to be a hypnobirthing teacher. I qualified with a KGH Diploma in Hypnobirthing in 2024. KG Hypnobirthing is recognised as the home of hypnobirthing in the UK, and Katharine Graves (founder of KGH) has spent many years developing the most complete course in hypnobirthing, thanks to her incredible knowledge. KG Hypnobirthing is also accredited by the Royal College of Midwifery.

It is important to note that, while I am a fully qualified hypnobirthing teacher, I am independent and not medically trained. My role is to inform, educate and signpost, giving mothers and their birth partners the ability to be empowered before, during and after birth with knowledge that you are able to use to make the right decisions for you.

My role is not to encourage a specific place or way to give birth, but to give as much information as possible to allow those important decisions to be made by you in the most informed way.
